DESCRIPTION:This is the second special LCG Generator working  (internal) m
 eeting dedicated to the Management of GENSER Releases.\n\nThe goal of thes
 e meetings is to define the policy and the procedures for the administrati
 on of the LCG Generator software (including the preparation of the GENSER 
 official\, test & bug fix releases\, installation in AFS\, prapartion of d
 istribution kits\, administration of the repository\, organization of work
 spaces\, etc).\n\nIn the first meeting it was agreed to follow the general
  guidelines of other LCG software projects (for example GEANT 4)\, adoptin
 g a coherent versioning and preserving some ascpects specific to GENSER (o
 fficial release rate = 4/year\, location of subpackages\, organizazion of 
 subpackage' directory structure).\n\nIn this second meeting\, the libraria
 n/developer currently taking on these duties should give us an overview of
  the (techical) methods employed until now\, enfasizing on the aspects tha
 t allow for possible improvements. \n\nAmong the aspects that can certainl
 y be improved\, let me mention the policy for GENSER pre- and bug fix rele
 ases. We should try to understand how to customize to GENSER the policy cu
 rrently adopted for other LCG projects (for example GEANT 4).\n\nPlease fe
