DESCRIPTION:I argue that the observed flavour mixings in the quark and lep
ton sector can be\nconstructed from a small number of textures - the eleme
nts of flavour. The\nelements explaining the first two generation flavour
physics are related to the\ngolden ratio. Consequently the solar neutrino
and the Cabibbo mixing angles are\nnot arbitrary and can be predicted with
high accuracy. The final KamLAND and SNO\nresults (expected to be releare
 d this summer) may prove/disprove this scenario.\n\nhttp://indico.cern.ch/

DESCRIPTION:Quantum decoherence\, the evolution of pure states into mixed
 states\, may\nbe a feature of quantum-gravity models. In most cases\, such
models lead to\nfewer neutrinos of all active flavours being detected in
a long baseline\nexperiment as compared to three-flavour standard neutrino
oscillations. We\ndiscuss the potential of the CNGS and J-PARC beams in c
onstraining models\nof quantum-gravity induced decoherence using neutrino
 oscillations as a\nprobe.\n\nhttp://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?co

DESCRIPTION:The LSND neutrino oscillation experiment\, performed in the 19
90s at Los Alamos National\nLaboratory\, USA\, observed an excess of elect
ron anti-neutrino events best fit by a 2-neutrinooscillation hypothesis.
This result\, in combination with the solar and atmospheric oscillation re
sults\, cannot be accommodated by the Standard Model. MiniBooNE is an ex
periment designed to confirm or refute the high-delta m^2 oscillations cla
imed by LSND. InMarch\, 2007\, MiniBooNE presented the oscillation analys
is result\, performed using a neutrino data sample. MiniBooNE's oscillati
on result employed two complementary analyses. MiniBooNE found no evidenc
e for oscillations from 475 MeV to 3 GeV in reconstructed neutrino energy.
This talk will review the oscillation result and present two new oscillat
ion analyses: one which combines the two complementary analyses for a stro
nger limit\, and one which combines the LSND result with the three null se
 arches (MiniBooNE\, KARMEN2\, and Bugey).\n\nhttp://indico.cern.ch/confere
