DESCRIPTION:The Manne Siegbahn Laboratory\, Stockholm University\, will ho
 st an advanced DITANET school on Beam Diagnostic Techniques 7th-11th March
  2011.  The school will cover beam instrumentation at an advanced level a
 nd is targeted at PhD students\, post docs\, experienced scientists and re
 search staff.\nBasic techniques\, such as beam profile\, position or curre
 nt measurement\, will be revised before the details of beam diagnostics sy
 stems for specific applications\, e.g. particle colliders\, state-of-the-a
 rt light sources and low energy accelerators will be covered.  A scientif
