s combining high magnetic field strength (superconductive magnets at 6-7
T)\, an electron beam with high energy (150 keV)\, high current (2-5 A) an

working with the best performing EBIT/S devices worldwide (including LLNL\

ity of Electrical Communications Tokyo). Our intention is to bring toget

DESCRIPTION:\n	The unique Neutrino beam available at the nuSTORM facility
has the potential to transform our approach to neutrino-interaction physic
s\, offering a “neutrino light source” to physicists from a number of
disciplines.\n	The results of LSND and MiniBooNE\, along with the recent p
apers on a possible reactor-neutrino-flux anomaly\, give tantalizing hints
of new physics. Models beyond the "Standard Neutrino Model" have been dev
eloped to explain these results and involve one or more additional neutrin
os that have no Standard Model interactions (“sterile neutrinos"). \n	T
he nuSTORM facility will produce neutrino beams from the decay of a stored
muon beam with a central momentum of 3.8 GeV and a momentum spread of 10%
. A detector located at a distance of ~1600m will be capable of making sen
sitive searches for neutrino oscillations with frequencies corresponding t
o mass-squared differences in the eV2 range in both appearance and disappe
arance modes. The facility will also serve a suite of near detectors situa
ted at ~50m from the end of one of the straight sections of the storage ri
 ng. The near-detector facility will deliver nu_e N and nu_mu N cross-secti
on measurements with a precision at the percent level.\n	The status of the
nuSTORM facility and its physics potential will be presented. The aim of
this meeting is to discuss the nuSTORM facility\, its implementation at CE
RN and at FNAL\, and to discuss the development of a nuSTORM programme in
Europe that will be presented as an EOI to the SPSC in April 2013.\n	A dra

DESCRIPTION:The LHC will resume operation in 2015 with an increased collis
ion energy and new operational scenarios galore. Optics measurement and co
rrections will be challenged by dynamic beam processes as ramp & squeeze\,
collide & squeeze and beta* leveling. Furthermore the correction accuracy
and the measurement resolution will continue to be challenged by the emi
ttance measurement and the particle detectors requirements. This workshop
aims at reviewing the status and progress in all fronts to ensure the high

orking on the design of ultra low emittance lattices such as synchrotron l
ight sources\, damping rings and test facilities for linear colliders and
HEP circular colliders. The aim of the workshop is to review the present d
evelopment s in design of ultra low emittance lattices\, the experience an
d the challenges with the operation of low emittance synchrotrons and the
main technological problems. The merging of different accelerator communit
ies is expected to foster ideas exchange and the collaboration both on the
oretical\, experimental and design issues. Areas for common R&D programmes
will be explored. The workshop will profit from the experience of colleag
ues who have designed\, commissioned and operated lepton ring colliders an
d synchrotron light sources as well as from the ones involved in future lo
w emittance upgrade programmes of existing rings.\n\nhttp://indico.cern.ch
