Also a contribution to the organization of the Wo rkshop is provided through the CERN INTAS Collaborative project on Crystal Channeling 2006-2008 and INFN. The goals of the workshop are to discuss i f a new crystal collimation procedure assisted by bent crystals and suited for collimation during the ultimate high-luminosity phase of the machine and for new large colliders are possible. The use of Crystals in experimen ts for the study of diffractive physics will be the second goal of the Wor kshop.\nThe first part of the meeting will be devoted to a critical review of the results obtained in the various laboratories where the channeling techniques have been tested and implemented. The second part will be devot ed to the presentation of new crystal production technologies and the poss ible use of bent crystals in the LHC collimation system. During the third and fourth part\, the possible assessment of the new crystals through expe riments performed at the CERN-SPS (external beam lines) and at the Tevatro n will be discussed\, new schemes for the collimation systems at LHC and n ew colliders will also be presented. Also a contribution to the organization of the Wo rkshop is provided through the CERN INTAS Collaborative project on Crystal Channeling 2006-2008 and INFN. The goals of the workshop are to discuss i f a new crystal collimation procedure assisted by bent crystals and suited for collimation during the ultimate high-luminosity phase of the machine and for new large colliders are possible. The use of Crystals in experimen ts for the study of diffractive physics will be the second goal of the Wor kshop.\nThe first part of the meeting will be devoted to a critical review of the results obtained in the various laboratories where the channeling techniques have been tested and implemented. The second part will be devot ed to the presentation of new crystal production technologies and the poss ible use of bent crystals in the LHC collimation system. During the third and fourth part\, the possible assessment of the new crystals through expe riments performed at the CERN-SPS (external beam lines) and at the Tevatro n will be discussed\, new schemes for the collimation systems at LHC and n ew colliders will also be presented. Finally new schemes of operations to improve experimental studies of diffractive physics will be presented.
