The Project includes a Design Study within the European Framew ork Programme FP7\, called HiLumi LHC\, and will take place over a four ye ar time span\, from 1st November 2011 to 30th September 2015. The Project is also the main objective of the US LARP Program (LHC Accelerator Researc h Program) and of the CERN-KEK Collaboration for the upgrade of the LHC. T wenty institutes from the EU research area\, the US and Japan participate to the HiLumi LHC Design Study.\nThe 1st HiLumi LHC Collaboration Meeting will take place at CERN from 16th to 18th November 2011 and will be organi sed as a joint meeting with LARP (LARP CM17).\nOn Wednesday 16th November\ , a typical LARP CM will be organised with a plenary session followed by t wo parallel sessions (Acc. Physics and Magnet R&D) and the accent will be put on the LARP program and results.\nOn Wednesday evening\, all collabora tors will be invited to a Welcome Drink organised by the HiLumi Management Team that will take place at the Glassbox (restaurant no.1) at 7 PM.\nOn Thursday 17th November\, various parallel sessions will be organised for L ARP and the HiLumi WPs and the latter will be followed by the first HiLumi LHC Plenary Session\, which will be dedicated to the HiLumi LHC managemen t and technical coordination presentations. The 1st HiLumi LHC Collaborati on Board will also take place on the second day of the meeting.\nOn Friday 18th November\, a HiLumi LHC Public Session will be organised at CERN in the Main Auditorium to review the HL-LHC program and CERN plan\, as well a s to discuss the US and Japan involvement and the status of the various WP s.\nThe participation to the first two days of the meeting will require an invitation and registration on the website will be compulsory. The integration of the HL-LHC into the CERN Me dium Term Program 2013-17 has been recently approved by the CERN Council\, sending a clear signal to the community about the priority of HL-LHC in t he CERN programme. Following the 1st HiLumi LHC Collaboration Meeting\, he ld CERN from 16th to 18th November 2011\, and the LARP Collaboration Meeti ng 18 held in Fermilab from 7th to 9th May 2012\, we are pleased to annou nce the 2nd HiLumi Collaboration Meeting jointly organised with LARP\, at INFN-LNF Frascati from 14th to 16th November 2012.\n\n The meeting will re view the progress in design and R&D of the FP7 HiLumi Work Packages\, and of the other WPs as well\, and the progress toward a final lay-out of the accelerator upgrade.
