 ears\, there were new developments and results in testing the predictions 
 of low-scale string theories at LHC\, in the construction of GUT theories 
 starting from F-theory and in obtaining more realistic heterotic models. T
 he purpose of our CERN-TH Institute is to bring together leading string\, 
 field theory experts and Beyond the Standard Model researchers\, with a ke
 y interest in comparing various string and BSM ideas with the available ex
 isting LHC data.\n\n	This 3-week Institute is organized by the CERN's Theo
