DESCRIPTION:Monte Carlo Tools for Beyond the Standard Model Physics\n\nThi
s workshop aims to gather together theorists and experimentalists interest
ed in developing and using Monte Carlo tools for Beyond the Standard Model
Physics in an attempt to be prepared for the analysis of data focusing on
the Large Hadron Collider. Since a large number of excellent tools alread
y exist for the study of low energy supersymmetry and the MSSM in particul
ar\, this workshop will instead focus on tools for alternative TeV-scale p
hysics models. The main goals of the workshop are:\n-- To survey what is a
vailable. To provide feedback on user experiences with Monte Carlo tools f
or BSM.\n-- To identify promising models (or processes) for which the tool
s have not yet been constructed and start filling up these gaps.\n-- To pr
opose ways to streamline the process of going from models to events\, i.e.
to make the process more user-friendly so that more people can get involv
ed and perform serious collider studies outside of the MSSM.\n\n\nIn conju
nction with MC4BSM\, a HEFTI workshop will also be held which focuses on
collider signals of jets/leptons plus missing energy. The purpose is to di
scuss the strategies to search for new physics with missing energy signals
and how to identify the new physics if such experimental signals are disc
overed. \n\nTo contact the organizers\, please send email to: mc4bsm@parti
