DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this session is to provide an introduction on g
 Lite middleware. The session will include an introductory presentation\, f
 ollowed by provision of modules and tutorials for the attendees self-paced
  learning which will include submitting jobs to EGEE.\nLearning outcomes o
 f the session are:\nUnderstand the context of the EGEE grid & how gLite wa
 s developed\nUnderstand how to gain access to a general infrastructure\nUn
 derstand the nature and purpose of a training infrastructure\nBe familiar 
 with the basics of gLite job management\nUnderstand the commands and workf
 low in submitting jobs within the EGEE project \nHave gained practical exp
 erience of submitting jobs to the EGEE training infrastructure\n\n\nPresen
 terThis session will be presented by Robin McConnell\, and Ted Wen from Na
 tional e-Science Centre\, Edinburgh\nInfrastructure\nThe tutorial provided
  will require the attendees to use their own laptop using a SSH program (e
 g Putty)\, and access the GILDA training infrastructure. User accounts and
  certificates to access the GILDA infrastructure will be arranged for atte
 ndees. No need to apply for your personal GILDA account for this event!\n\
