DESCRIPTION:The workshop will focus on the technology and applications of 
 3D detectors and\nstandard planar detectors made on p-type substrates.\n\n
 The goal of the workshop is to bring together experts on technology (desig
 n and processing)\nand on detector applications (e.g.\, particle tracking\
 , medical and biological imaging\, etc.) for discussions of the present st
 ate of the art\, establishment of requirements of the fields and future pr
 ograms.\n \nThe workshop will consist of invited talks and contributed pre
