DESCRIPTION:1. Measurement of extragalactic magnetic fields by TeV gamma r
ay telescopes ( 40 min + discussion) \nAfter a short discussion of differe
nt ways of measurement of magnetic fields in the Universe\, I will explain
\na method of measurement of extragalactic magnetic fields in observation
 s of TeV gamma-rays from distant\n blazars. Multi-TeV gamma-rays interact
with the infrared photon background producing secondary \nelectrons and po
sitrons\, which can be just slightly deflected by extragalactic magnetic f
ields before they \nemit secondary gamma-rays via inverse Compton scatteri
ng of cosmic microwave background photons. \nSecondary gamma-rays emitted
toward an observer on the Earth can be detected as extended emission \naro
und initially point source. Energy dependent angular size of extended emis
sion is related to the value of \nextragalactic magnetic field along the l
ine of sight. Small magnetic fields B \n\nhttp://indico.cern.ch/conference
