DESCRIPTION:Cloud computing\, the recent years buzzword for distributed co
 mputing\, continues to attract and keep the interest of both the computing
  and business world. These lectures aim at explaining "What is Cloud Compu
 ting?" identifying and analyzing it's characteristics\, models\, and appli
 cations. The lectures will explore different "Cloud definitions" given by 
 different authors and use them to introduce the particular concepts. The m
 ain cloud models (SaaS\, PaaS\, IaaS)\, cloud types (public\, private\, hy
 brid)\, cloud standards and security concerns will be presented. The borde
 rs between Cloud Computing and Grid Computing\, Server Virtualization\, Ut
