DESCRIPTION:The results of a search for the production of first\, second a
 nd third\ngeneration scalar leptoquarks are presented.  Searches for the f
 irst\ntwo generations are presented by the ATLAS experiment for final stat
 es\nconsisting of either two oppositely charged leptons and at least two\n
 jets or a charged lepton plus missing transverse momentum and at least\ntw
 o jets. The event yields in the signal regions are found to be\nconsistent
  with the Standard Model background expectations. The\nproduction of first
  and second generation leptoquarks is excluded for\nleptoquark masses mLQ\
