DESCRIPTION:\n	\n	International workshop on heavy quark production in hea
 vy-ion collisions\n\n	The main purpose of this workshop is to bring togeth
 er experimentalists and theoreticians to discuss recent results from exper
 iments as well as upgrades and future experiments and theoretical developm
 ents regarding open and hidden heavy flavour production in high-energy nuc
 lear collisions. Therefore\, we will have only plenary sessions with (20+1
 0) minutes presentations and ample time for discussion between the present
 ations.\n	 \n	This workshop is the fifth one in a series whose previous e
 ditions took place at Brookhaven National Laboratory (2005)\, Lawrence Ber
 keley National Laboratory (2007)\, University of California at Los Angeles
  (2009) and Purdue University (2011).\n	 \n	Topics:\n	Open charmed mesons
 \n	Quarkonia\n	Heavy-flavour decay leptons\n	Heavy-flavour particle correl
 ations\n	Heavy-quark production in jets\n	Lattice QCD\n	New ideas from the
 ory\n	Cold nuclear matter effects\n	Future experiments and upgrades\n	Regi
