DESCRIPTION: Welcome to the first annual meeting of EuCARD\, the European 
 Coordination for Accelerator Research and Development taking place from (1
 3) 14-16th April 2010 at RAL.\n   After one day (Tuesday 13th) dedicated 
 to parallel meetings of Work Packages\, the plenary meeting will combine s
 ummaries and highlight talks on the advancement of the work in fields as v
 aried as high field magnets\, collimation\, linear collider technologies\,
  novel accelerator concepts\, networking of the community and open facilit
 ies. One day (Thursday 15th) will be dedicated to other European projects 
 on accelerators\, to discussions on the future organization of EU accelera
 tor R&D and to the RAL facilities. The meeting is open to external and loc
