DESCRIPTION:DIS 2010 is the 18th in the series of annual workshops on Deep
 -Inelastic Scattering (DIS) and Related Subjects. The aim of these worksho
 ps is to review the progress in the field of DIS and Quantum Chromodynamic
 s (QCD) and to lay the groundwork for future experiments. DIS 2010 will co
 ver the most recent results from HERA\, JLab\, RHIC\, Tevatron and fixed-t
 arget experiments and from related theoretical topics\, as well as the fir
 st results from the LHC experiments. Special emphasis will be put this yea
 r on the unity of the field from DIS to hadron colliders and notably on th
 e crucial role played by the results from HERA and Tevatron towards unders
 tanding the new data coming from the LHC. DIS 2010 will be organized joint
 ly by INFN\, University of Firenze and University of Piemonte Orientale an
 d will be held from the 19th to the 23st of April 2010 in the congress cen
 tre Convitto della Calza\, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Florence.\n\
