DESCRIPTION:A slightly modified version of the K12 beam line and the NA48 
 detector allow to search for K-short rare decays with unprecedented sensit
 ivities and to collect large sample of semi-leptonic neutral hyperon decay
 s. The new experiment -NA48/1- has collected data in 2002 \nduring the SPS
