DESCRIPTION:We discuss the computation of one-loop QCD scattering amplitud
 es with BlackHat\, a numerical program based on on-shell methods. We repor
 t scaling properties with increasing numbers of external partons and about
  numerical stability of the implementation.\nWe conclude with first result
 s from one-loop amplitudes needed for computing W\,Z + 3 jet cross section
