NEU2012 -- Doing the best of existing infrastructures in Europe and at CERN

chaired by Ilias Efthymiopoulos (CERN), Alain Blondel (DPNC, Uni Geneva)
from to (Europe/Zurich)
at CERN ( 6-2-024 - BE Auditorium Meyrin )
Description

We will hold a workshop at CERN on 27-28 September on the use of existing facilities for accelerator neutrino physics in Europe with emphasis on CERN. (formally this is the NEU2012 workpackage 3.2 of EUCARD) The meeting will take place in the BE auditorium 6-2-024 at CERN. It will include sessions on -- CNGS beam possibilities after approved program -- low energy neutrino beam at the PS -- test beam for detector R&D -- other R&D opportunities at CERN towards future neutrino facilities The emphasis will be on concrete projects. Suggestions on agenda and contributions are now invited. Remote connection is always possible but often not too satisfactory so your presence in person will be very much appreciated.
