"Moduli stabilization with magnetized branes" 

Abstract: The status of moduli stabilization with magnetized branes is summarized and the corresponding 
effective field theory is described. Two distinct possibilities are presented and possible physics applications 
are discussed: (1) supersymmetric minima with charged scalar vevs turned on; (2) supersymmetry 
breaking vacua in AdS spacetime.
