I review the article arXiv:1204.0886 by S. Lahiri and S. SenGupta. The authors look for the origin of an effective cosmological constant in our Universe in the framework of a generalised Randall-Sundrum braneworld scenario. Their results rely crucially on whether the radion field is a constant, or depends on the extra-dimensional coordinate, or is a time dependent quantity. |
