| Description |
The counting of quarter-BPS dyons in N=4 supersymmetric string theories has provided a surprising connections to the sporadic finite simple group, the Mathieu group M24. This is referred to as `Mathieu moonshine'. In this talk, I will provide evidence for the existence of an M24-module with fairly simple building blocks. We will see that it implies product formulae for the Siegel modular forms that are generating functions of `twisted' quarter BPS. We will also discuss with connections with other sporadic finite simple groups. Based (in part) on: arXiv:1106.5715 |
