The next US ATLAS Computing Facilities face-to-face meeting to discuss a number of topics pertaining to evolving the distributed facility with new capabilities and services while maintaining on-going operations for ATLAS production and analysis. Topics:
Hosted by the University of California Santa Cruz, the 1.5 day meeting will be co-located with a 1.5 day OSG Campus Infrastructures Community meeting which will immediately follow the US ATLAS meeting. Both meetings will take place at University Center on campus. Note: if you plan to also attend the OSG CIC meeting you must register for it separately.
- ATLAS requirements and US ATLAS Facility storage deployments
- Network performance, LHCONE
- Support for multicore queues
- Federated data access deployments and operations
- Supporting analysis and improving performance
- Wide area caching issues
- Cloud queues - virtualizing the Tier 1 and Tier 2s
- Campus Infrastructures & multi-science support with OSG

Lodging options: Here is a link that provides information about local hotels. The Mission Inn is the closest to campus (about 3 miles) and will likely be around $100/night. Both the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn will probably be about $110, and both have a government rate of $84/night if that applies.
