The GCCP2008 workshop ( http://conference.ui.sav.sk/gccp2008/ ) is intended for researchers and practitioners working with complex (scientific) applications, as well as for all users and developers who are interested in high performance and cluster computing, distributed computing, service-oriented computing, and Grid computing. A number of invited lectures will be given by international-renowned Grid experts. The programme of the workshop will include training courses complemented with the tutorial which will target new and also experienced Grid users and application developers who wish to learn about EGEE Grid, Grid security, Grid middlewares and high-level tools, and the methodology of porting applications to Grid. Participants of the hands-on tutorial should have a Linux user background and must bring their own laptops with an ssh client (e.g. PuTTY)
