      Accessing site data 10m
Here is an observation from Greig that should be discussed further: "One main thing that I have noticed while being on shift is the constant problem of accessing software on the shared area at sites (RAL-PP and Glasgow are recent examples). It seems that many sites suffer from NFS (or AFS) scaling issues when there are many jobs simultaneously accessing the software. It would be good to have a discussion about what sites do to improve the reliability of this service." - What can we do to improve this area?
