Description
We present a Standard Model extension that has the following features: it is renormalizable; it contains the vertex (LH)^2 and four fermion interactions; it does not contain right-handed neutrinos, nor other extra fields;
it violates Lorentz symmetry explicitly above 10^(14)GeV; it is CPT invariant and anomaly-free. We discuss some theoretical problems, such as the low-energy recovery of Lorentz symmetry, and some phenomenological issues.
