Description


This event will interest those who are seeking to develop applications and managing jobs and advanced workloads on EGEE. The course will give an introduction to the services of the EGEE grid and its gLite middleware and to P-GRADE Grid Portal, one of the tools of the EGEE RESPECT programme.

P-GRADE Portal provides an intuitive and service rich graphical environment for the development, execution and monitoring of data-driven computational workflows and workflow based parameter studies. Services and interfaces of P-GRADE act as extensions of the gLite middleware and implement user centric features that ease the

  • porting of applications to grids
  • development of new grid applications
  • development of application specific portals or science gateways for e-Scientists
