by Nathan Hill (PPARC Industry Coordinator & UK Technology Transfer Coordinator for CERN)

Monday, 9 February 2004 from to (Europe/Zurich)
at CERN ( 61-1-009 )
Description The final seminar in this series will address the more personal aspects of working with and within industry. Why should we spend our time developing spinout companies or working to develop technologies with industry? Are there qualities that we learn as physicists that translate well into industry? The seminar will conclude with a reminder of the five essential requirements that must be fulfilled before a technology can be considered worthy for commercialisation.
