DESCRIPTION:Speakers: PANKOV\, Alexander (Techn. Univ. of Gomel)\nNumerous
non-standard dynamics are described by contact-like effective interaction
s\nthat can manifest themselves only through deviations of the cross secti
ons from the\nStandard Model predictions. If one such deviation were obser
ved\, it should be\nimportant to definitely identify\, to a given confiden
ce level\, the actual source\namong the possible non-standard interactions
that in principle can explain it.\nWe here estimate the identification re
ach on different New Physics effective\ninteractions obtainable from angul
ar distributions of fermion $e^+e^-\\to\\bar{f}f$ at\nthe ILC with polariz
ed beams. The models for which we discuss the range in the\nrelevant high
mass scales where they can be identified as sources of corrections to\nthe
Standard Model predictions\, are the interactions based on gravity in lar
ge and in\nTeV$^{-1}$ extra dimensions and the conventional four-fermion c
ontact interactions.\nWe emphasize the role of beams polarization on enhan
 cing the identification sensitivity.\n\nhttp://indico.cern.ch/contribution
