DESCRIPTION:Speakers: SERBO\, Victor (AIDA)\nAIDA\, Abstract Interfaces fo
 r Data Analysis\, is a set of abstract interfaces\nfor data analysis compo
 nents: Histograms\, Ntuples\, Functions\, Fitter\,\nPlotter and other typi
 cal analysis categories. The interfaces are currently\ndefined in Java\, C
 ++ and Python and implementations exist in the form of\nlibraries and tool
 s using C++ (Anaphe/Lizard\, OpenScientist)\, Java (Java\nAnalysis Studio)
  and Python (PAIDA).\n\nJAIDA is the full implementation of AIDA in Java.
 It is used internally by\nJAS3 as its analysis core but it can also be use
 d independently for either\nbatch or interactive processing\, or for web a
 pplications to access data\,\nmake plots and simple data analysis through
 a browser. Some of the JAIDA\nfeatures are the ability to open AIDA\, ROOT
  and PAW files and the support of\nan extensible set of fit methods (chi-s
 quare\, least squares\, binned/unbinned\nlikelihood\, etc) to be matched w
 ith an extensible set of optimizers\nincluding Minuit and Uncmin.\n\nAIDAJ
 NI is glue code between C++ and Java that allows any C++ code to access\na
 ny Java implementation of the AIDA interfaces. For example AIDAJNI is used
 \nwith Geant4 to access the JAIDA implementation of AIDA.\n\nThis paper gi
 ves an update on the AIDA 3.2.1 interfaces and its\ncorresponding JAIDA im
 plementation. Examples will be provided on how to use\nJAIDA within JAS3\,
  as a standalone library and from C++ using AIDAJNI.\n\nReferences:\n\nhtt
