Current status of the Standard EM package of the Geant4 toolkit is described.
The precision of simulation results is discussed with the focus on LHC
experiments. The comparisons of the simulation with the experimental data are
shown.

All components needed for simulation of electromagnetic processes for LHC
experiments are provided by the Geant4 Standard EM package. The software
for the testing suite of the package is described. This software allows
performing both validations versus experimental data and regression tests for
stability of simulation predictions between different Geant4 releases. The
results of validation of EM physics with experimental data show a good quality
of the package. The comparison of precision versus CPU performance allows to
choose an optimal options for the concrete simulation.
