Description
FormEncode is the form data validation library included by default with both TurboGears and Pylons. It is a powerful and flexible tool for both validation of form data and conversion of raw data to Python objects.
This talk will cover the basic principles of FormEncode and give examples of how to achieve a number of common tasks. The use of htmlfill to render customised form pages with input errors will be demonstrated. Finally, there will be a brief demonstration of the integration between Pylons and FormEncode.
