Travel Information

There are several ways to reach Bankya from Sofia.

From Sofia Airport :

by taxi - We recommend that you take a taxi at the designated taxi stands in front of the western exit (on your right) from Arrivals at Terminal 2.  Make sure that you are catching  "O'Key Supertrans Taxi" or "Taxi C Express". Both companies are authorized by the Sofia Airport, see for car logos here.

The usual price per km is 0.70 BGN, the same or less for 1 min stay. Thus, from the airport to Bankya it should cost 20-25 BGN, depending on the traffic. The prices must be visible on a sticker attached to one of the passenger side windows and inside the car. There must be a taximeter in the car, too.

Please, avoid catching a taxi that has no price sticker on a visible place! Read the sticker carefully before you embark!
