Amsterdam University Press supports the idea behind Open Access and has published several publications and almost all her magazines in Open Access. AUP was the coordinator of the EU project Open Access Publishing in European Networks and in September 2010 with the launch of the OAPEN library, AUP launched a new Open Access publication model for monograph’s in humanities and Social sciences, see OAPEN brochure, page 20 en 21.
 
ATIRA Pure is a CRIS made by ATIRA
Introduced in 2003, Pure is now licensed to 48,000 research-active staff at 68 references in 7 countries; 15 of these in the UK, where Pure's REF2014 module released on 1 April 2011. There are an estimated 100,000 users of Pure, and Pure holds more than 1,000,000 publications in total, among other types of content.
Pure is a complete CRIS system including areas such as Grant Applications and Awards, Projects, Publications and other outputs, Academic staff and Postgraduates, Organisational units, External collaborators, Journals, Publishers, Esteem, and so on. Everything is ready to go into production after a normal 4-5 month implementation project.
Pure has specific functionality for Open Access planning and management including license handling in approval workflows and widespread integration of RoMEO data. Finally, we collaborate formally with UNIT4, Thomson-Reuters, and with Elsevier to provide related integrations and services, and we follow the different national assessment projects closely.

LIBER (Association of European Research Libraries) is the principal association of the major research libraries of Europe. It was founded in 1971 under the auspices of the Council of Europe. Its current membership includes almost 400 research libraries in more than 40 countries. LIBER membership is not restricted to the area of the European Union, and membership of research libraries outside the European Union is widely encouraged.
LIBER promotes in particular:
       -       efficient information services;
       -       access to research information, in any form whatsoever;
       -       innovation in end-user services from research libraries in support of teaching, learning and research;
