THE CITY

The 3rd EMI AHM will in Padua, a beautiful city in the north of Italy less than one hour from Venice and Verona. You can enjoy visiting its nice historical medieval center, the Cappella degli Scrovegni with Giotto's paintings, the Specola, where Galileo started his studies, and much, much more.


HOW TO GET TO PADUA

By Air

The closest airport to Padua is Venice (VCE). Most European cities have direct flights to Venice. From the airport you can reach Padua by:

- Public transportation:
Take the SITA bus to Padua Central Rail Station (nr.4). Buses run approximately every 30 minutes for a 50 minutes drive. Tickets can be bought at the SITA office at the airport (Euro 8,00) or directly on the bus (Euro 10,00). Bus running from 8:00 am to 9.30 pm.

- Taxi:
Approximately Euro 30,00 (may vary). Group rate is possible but must be booked.

THE VENUE
The meeting will take place in Centro Culturale S. Gaetano (nr.1) and in Centro Universitario di Padova (nr.2). They are both located in the heart of the city, near all facilities and close to major attractions. They are less than 5 minutes walking distance from each other and easily reachable on foot from all major hotels.
Registration and Plenary sessions will take place at Palazzo S. Gaetano. Parallel sessions will take place in both Palazzo S. Gaetano and Centro Universitario.
