This is to remind you that we are approaching the deadline for registration which is 24th of August. A few exceptions may be allowed due to the holiday period. We ask all of you who wish to participate and present your results and ideas to register in our web site:
Our workshop program is taking shape. We will try to cover following topics:
- Recent developments in Micromegas, GEM, THGEM and other MPGDs
- Pixel & Grid detectors,
- TPC readout and ion blocking,
- Technology (including large size detectors); production and QC,
- Stability aspects (aging, materials radiation hardness, discharges, charging up and polarization of insulators),
- Gas properties studies,
- Software tools,
- Electronics.
Understanding the state-of-the-art and current trends in this variety of subjects should help us to define the R&D programme of a possible MPGD collaboration and ways of cooperation with ongoing development efforts (ILC TPC community, EUDET, etc.).
A final circular with a preliminary agenda and organizational information will be distributed in 2 weeks.
