Proceedings announcement
The proceedings of both conferences will be published as a special issue in the renowned journal Astronomische Nachrichten (AN) managed by the Astronomical Institute Potsdam (AIP) and printed by Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Berlin. We got a slot for the issue 6-7/2014.
Instructions for Authors
1. The proceeding articles should be written as review type papers in a very pedagogical way rather than specific. Poster type articles with a few very specific topics, without bringing these into a broad context, will not be accepted by the journal.
2. The number of pages of each contribution is exactly 6 pages. Shorter papers cannot be accepted. Papers with more than 6 pages are an exception, and can only be accepted after approval by the Editors.
3. The papers have to undergo a review process. The review process will be organized by the Editors and the report will be sent back to authors for iterations, if necessary.
4. All figures must get proper references. The journal will not allow to publish figures which have no permission stamp.
5. In order to download the AN style files please visit http://www.aip.de/AN/instructions.html and download the file AN-macro.tar.gz. On the web site you will find further details of the AN publication policy.
6. Use the file guide.tex as the template for writing your article.
7. Please submit your paper contribution to Thomas Boller (bol@mpe.mpg.de). Do NOT submit your paper to AN directly.
8. The deadline for submission is the end of December 2013.
9. The Editors will then start the review process and will come back to each author with detailed review results by the end of January 2014.
10. The corrected and final articles have to be submitted to AN by the end of February 2014. The submission to the journal will be done by the Editors.
