The Global Innovation Index (GII) focuses on measuring innovation at the country level. It provides interesting insights into the framework conditions needed for innovation to take place; it also looks at variations in actual innovation performance. On the Global Innovation Report 2013, the GII is topped by Switzerland.
As a follow up to the December 2012 Show and Tell of STFC, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) welcomes HEPTech members to it's premises in order to showcase their Technology Transfer and Innovation practices. This is a great opportunity to have close contact with a very successful swiss TT Office, and to have some insight on what services it offers and the practices that have lead Switzerland to its position in the GII.
