Allahabad is the place where Ganga and Yamuna, two main rivers of Northern India, intimately linked with the culture of the country, meet. The word sangam denotes confluence. The proposed instructional workshop is similarly envisioned as a confluence of multiple streams in the broad canvas of particle physics.
