Injectors report (Guido Sterbini):

Last week PS cycle was mainly filled with EAST, nToF and the commissioning cycles (parasitic nToF +EAST, AD, LHC_INDIV and SFTPRO).

Nominal intensity on EAST, almost 650e10 on nToF (this is compatible with the request of 160e10 p/s in average on the SC). nToF is taking been only during the night and is completing the installation during working hour.  There will be a stop of 2.5h form 13h30 for the PSB intervention of the cavity of R4. On Thursday, short perturbation for PSB MPS (~1h stop on TOF, EAST, AD Set Up) and for an alarm on South Hall (stop TOF). On Saturday, problem with the KFA13 afternoon (stop TOF (and AD Set Up)). On Monday KF4 stop 1h45 (stopped TOF) On Tuesday intervention on the quadrupole ZT9.QFO03(stop 4h30) Between Tuesday/Wedbesday night problem of injection kicker ~5h stop (all beam) Wednesday morning problem with cavity in PSB perturbing AD and ISOLDE. Perturbation on EAST due to RP limit (1 cycle took out from the SC).

East Area:

T8: Irrad & Charm: 2 to 3 hours access needed in T8B for Irrad. Will be scheduled during next week MD or TS

PS this was schedule during the MD on Wednesday.

T9: Many users: we ran with four spills  on a short cycle (<20BP). Many Radiation alarms (>3µS/h limit reached). RP askes to reduce dose. From imput of the users we go to maintain a high number of spills with reduced intensity. The ATLAS NSW group will move out during the wedenesday MD. HVCMOS reported 100Gb of data collected. The testbema allowed to identify grounding problems in their de devices.

T10: The Alice RPC group are starting to collecte data today, after having solving some issues with the gas mix.

NA58 RICH made a short presentation about the new technology they intend to beam test next week: micro-patern based photo-detectors (GEM&µMegas based). They will use Ar/CH4 as radiator gas. The gas leak detection system is being recommisioned.

nTOF: Some interventions during day time. The EAR1 facility is reaching completion. Measurment in the ISR workshop show satisfactoy levels when nTOF is at full intensity. The nTOF group asks for the integrate number of proton curve, also the detailed number of protons on target will be needed to cross check the nTOF own measurements. They will have a short stop tomorrow.

Safety: Mind applying proper grounding of your setups. There is a question on who is the RP officer for the east hall.
