Description

A measurement of the charged hadron production in p+Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV in the transverse momentum range from 4 GeV to 189 GeV is presented. The results use a data sample with an integrated luminosity of of 25 nb−1 collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC during 2013. The results extend previous measurements by the ATLAS collaboration. The charged particle nuclear modification factor is found to vary significantly as a function of transverse momentum with a stronger dependence in more peripheral collisions.
