Description
We present a UV completion of the twin Higgs idea in the framework of holographic composite Higgs. The bulk symmetry is SU(7)\times SO(8), broken on the IR brane into SU(7)\times SO(7) and on the UV brane into (SU(3)\times SU(2)\times U(1))^{SM} \times (SU(3)\times SU(2)\times U(1))^{mirror}\times Z_2. The field content on the UV brane is the SM, extended by a sector transforming under the mirror gauge group, with the Z_2 exchanging the two sectors. The SM contribution to the Higgs potential is effectively cut off by the mirror partners at the σ-model scale f, and the scale of the KK excitations can be high (m_\rho \sim 5 TeV) without tuning. An additional Z_2 breaking term is included to reproduce the Higgs mass and VEV, with a mild {\cal O}(10\%) tuning for f \sim 1\text{ TeV}. This term is generated by a Z_2 breaking mechanism that also lifts the mass of the light mirror partners. This model has no trace at the LHC, but can be probed by precision Higgs tests, and by direct searches for KK excitations at a 100 TeV collider.
