The easiest way to reach Sandomierz is flight to Cracow, Warsaw or Rzeszow and then change to bus.

Krakow John Paul II International Airport is located about 15 km from Krakow centre. For updated information on flights and connections see the website: http://www.krakowairport.pl/en
From the airport you can reach the city centre by:
- taxi (approximate price 60-90 PLN),
- public bus number: 292, 208 or the night bus 902 (the fare is 4 PLN). Tickets can be purchased in advance at the airport kiosk (second floor). It takes about 40 min to get to the city centre. The bus stop is located directly at the roundabout, in front of the passenger terminal,
The bus station is located in the city centre. There is on average one bus to Sandomierz per hour. The price is of about 30 PLN.
A conference bus will be organised from/to Cracow:
- Monday, August 31: 17:00 from 4 Reymonta street and then 18:00 from the airport (arrival to Sandomierz at about 9 PM)
- Sunday, September 6: 8:00 from Sandomierz to airport (arrival at about 11 AM)
In case of early arrival, there will be a possibility to wait in the room at the former Physics Department of the Jagiellonian University (4 Reymonta street).

Please note that the rates at airports are usually very bad. It is better to exchange it in bank or in currency exchange (kantor) in downtown.
