The QCD Master Class 2016 will take place on 5-18 of June 2016 in Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, a small village in Brittany (west of France) close to the city of Saint-Malo and the world famous Mont Saint-Michel. Six lectures in QCD, of about 10 hours each, will be given to 20-25 young researchers. The school is devoted primarily to Ph.D. students and postdocs, but senior researchers can also apply.
The program of the QCD Master Class consists in lectures on three different topics per week, from Monday to Friday. The week-end in between the two weeks is left free.
Each day there will be 3 lessons of 2 hours. At the end of each week, there will be the possibility for each participant to present individually to the lecturers their results of the exercises and problems provided during the lectures.
Interested candidates should apply via the pre-registration form given here. Deadline for application is fixed to March 15, 2016. The candidates are expected to apply for the complete duration of the school, with preferably arrival on June 5 (afternoon) and departure on June 18 (morning). The selected 20-25 participants will be contacted in order to process with the payment of the fee to confirm final registration.
The registration fee is fixed to 600 euros and includes the full board accommodation from June 5 (evening) to June 18 (morning). The fee will be waived for potential participants from CNRS.
