The organizers of the HEP2016 workshop are pleased to invite you to the 6th International Workshop on "High Energy Physics in the LHC Era," to be held from 6 to 12 January 2016 in Valparaíso, Chile. The workshop site will be the picturesque campus of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM). For more information, registration and talk submission, please visit the workshop website: http://indico.cern.ch/event/hep2016.

The goal of the workshop is to bring together young and senior scientists, theorists and experimentalists, to discuss recent progress in High Energy Physics. The program of the Workshop will address a broad range of topics covering the main areas of high-energy particle physics and nuclear physics and beyond, such as:

  - Higgs Physics,

  - Hadron Spectroscopy

  - Neutrino Physics,

  - High-Energy QCD,

  - Hadron Structure

  - Non-perturbative QCD,

  - Detectors & Instrumentations,

  - Heavy Ion collisions,

  - Beyond the Standard Model,

  - Dark Matter searches,

  - Phenomenology of AdS/CFT,

  - Astroparticle Physics,

  - Future experiments.

We encourage presentations of physics results from experimental high energy and nuclear physics labs (CERN, JLAB, RHIC, DESY, Fermilab, etc.) and also expect that theory talks will go beyond the scope of the physics from these facilities.

We cordially invite you to participate in the workshop and submit a talk on any topic relevant to the scientific program of the workshop.

The location of the workshop offers its own unique backdrop. The port of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage City, is famous for its hills, late 19th century architecture, and public elevators that lead to spectacular views of the bay. Neighboring Viña del Mar offers long beaches and beautiful gardens.

Please feel free to contact us for any additional information.

We are looking forward to hearing from you at your convenience.
