Description
The measurement of the jet energy scale using data from sqrt(s) = 13 TeV collisions is
presented. A sequence of MonteCarlo based calibrations restore jets to the particle scale and
use jet properties to significantly improve the jet resolution. A combination of measurements
using Z+jet, gamma+jet, and multijet events is used to calibrate jets in data and to measure
systematic uncertainties. A 5% data/MC difference is observed, and corrected for, at low pT.
Uncertainties are as low as 1% at p_T^{jet} of 200 GeV, and for the first time insitu
measurements are extended to 2 TeV. More data from the 2016 run is expected to further
reduce uncertainties and improve the results.
