  1.  Wednesday 06 July 2016, 19:00-20:00 Culture event in the OAC Chapel. Blessing. Introduction to the history of OAC Chapel  and meaning of blessing by Katerina Karkala (OAC).

  2. Wednesday 06 July 2016, 20:30-21:30  After dinner talk in the veranda of OAC on "History of Crete" by Emanuela Larentzakis.

  3. Thursday 07 July 2016, 20:30-21:00, After Dinner talk,  in the veranda of OAC on "John Bardeen and the impact of his Nobel Prize Research" by  Bill Bardeen.

  4. Thursday 07 July 2016, 21:00 -22:30 Concert of Classical Music by Ruben Muradyan (piano), Svetlana Nor (violin) and Vladimir Nor (cello) and Welcome Drink. (Formal dressing is suggested). The program can be found here.

  5. Friday 8 July 2016, 17:00-23:30 Excursion to Chania, old venetian harbor.

  6. ​Friday 8 July 2016 Science Exhibition and Public Talk by Prof. Theodoros Tomaras (University of Crete) on “Gravitational waves: the confirmation which came 100 years after their prediction” (in greek) at 20:30 - 21:30 in Chania Sailing Club. For interested people projection of film in Chania and visit to the old synagogue of Chania.

  7. Saturday 9 July 19:00-20:00 Guide tour by  Katerina Karkala (OAC) to nearby Gonia monastery.

  8. Saturday 9 July 21:00 Concert of classical music in OAC.

  9. Sunday 10 July 2016 (all day) Conference Excursions.

  10. Sunday 10 July 2016 20:30-21:20  After dinner talk in the veranda of OAC on "Nikos Kazantzakis". 

  11. Monday 11 July  2016, 19:30-20:30 Poster session with wine testing and dinner at 20:00-21:00.

  13. Tuesday 12th July 2016 18:19:00 Public Talk “Gravitational waves, Cosmic Primordial Radiation and the Origin of the Universe” will be given  by Prof. Vyacheslav Mukhanov (University of Munchen, Germany) (in english) followed by visit to the Venizelos Hights (19:00-19:30).

  14. Tuesday 12 July 2016, 20:00-23:00  Conference Dinner.

  15. Thursday 14 July 2016, 18:00-20:00  Satellite cultural event in OAC with talks and music after the closing of the conference, on "Science, Spirituality and Philosophy". The program can be found here.
