The 5th MoEDAL Collaboration Meeting will take place at the Scientific Park ('Parque Científico') in Valencia, where the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) is located. IFIC is a joint centre of between the Spanish Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC) and the University of Valencia.


MoEDAL is an experiment operating at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) situated at CERN in Gevena.
It is specialised on the search of magnetic monopoles and other stable, highly ionising particles. Around 70 scientists from 24 institutes from around the world participate in the MoEDAL Collaboration.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend the Open Session that will take place on Tuesday June 28th,  from 9:30 to 13:30 at the Salón de Actos, Parque Cientifico, Universitat de Valencia.

How to get to the venue

Follow the instruction on the tab Venue and then access the Parque Científico through the main entrance at C/ Catedrático José Beltrán. The room is indicated as "Universidad de Valencia: Instituto de Ciencia Molecular" in this map.

Once inside, take the first stairs to the 1st floor where the 'Salon de Actos' (Conference Room) is located.
