Description
I discuss the Effective Field Theory of Large Scale Structure prescription to one loop, with emphasis on the robustness of the EFT parameters and the resulting regime of validity when compared to high-resolution simulations. I stress the use of the propagator as a consistency test on the value of the speed of sound parameter. At low redshifts, there is consistency between power spectrum and propagator at low wavenumbers, and we conclude that the validity of one-loop EFT is k < 0.1 h/Mpc. We also discuss the redshift dependence, and study the bispectrum. Using the results in the literature that predict the one-loop bispectrum from the power spectrum, we find that there is not a large improvement on the goodness of fit to the bispectrum over standard perturbation theory for wavenumbers within the regime of validity of the EFT.
