Satoshi reported orally he is checking the cause of difference between
W+ and W- backgrounds.
Chen asked whether electron reconstruction efficiency loss may be due to
the tight isolation cut in Delphes.
Uta said it was checked before that Pythia does not affect electron efficiency.
Tanaka-san would like to know if more studies are requested on Hbb study.
Uta said the combined Hbb and Hcc results could be converted to
publication. She will update the Hbb part of jet lifetime method.
Xifeng Ruan: Status report on single top in CC

- Measure delta f1L, f1R, f2L, f2R = anomalous couplings - new:
analysis was performed at the delphi level
- With cut and count analysis finally s/b 1:2 was achieved
- All limits are limited by assumed systematic uncertainty of 5%
for signal and background normalisation, the number is a guess.
Discussion/suggestions :
- Mistagging: Uta suggests variations of charm contamination from 1% to 5%
- Xifeng mentions that he is assessing things by reweighting the MCs
and suggests to assess final systematics by using ATLAS performance
numbers for b tagging and uncertainties
- Olaf suggests to try 1% jet energy scale uncertainty (this was achieved
at HERA using pt balance between electron and jet in NC events)
- Christian suggests to do confidence interval plots for f parameters
until 1ab-1 luminosity
- Shape variations: need variations as fct. of f
problem: would need to generate for many f values
to map the small shape changes -
ask Mukesh for experience on previous studies
- Questions on operators to be used.
